University Of Georgia’s G-Day Game This Saturday
It’s been almost 3 months since the end of college football season. And it’ll be a while before fall season kicks up. But, the good news is, the University of Georgia’s G-Day Game is coming up this Saturday!
It’s the annual spring scrimmage for the Bulldogs. This game serves as a chance for the coaches and players to really get a feel for each other. And this will be Mike Bobo’s first appearance as Georgia’s new offensive coordinator.
According to the Albany Herald, fans can probably expect a lot of passing to give the new quarterbacks and receivers some play, and also limit too much contact, since they are “coming into this scrimmage more banged up than usual.”
After a month of Spring practice, you’ll see the Red team take on the Black team. It will give viewers a glimpse at what we might see in the Fall. And there’s the big question of who will succeed Stetson Bennett as the quarterback?
There are quite a few new athletes that will be taking the field as recruits, plus new additions to the offense via the transfer portal. Saturday will be a chance for these new players to showcase their skills and hopefully earn a spot in the starting lineup this upcoming football season!
Even though it’s just one game… who doesn’t love the University of Georgia’s G-Day game each Spring?
