Local Participant In The 2024 Drive Chip And Putt Competition

There's a local participant in the 2024 Drive, Chip and Putt competition. The 80 finalists for the 2024 Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals have been named and there’s a local participant. Kip Madison from Evans traveled to Tennessee and qualified at the Golf Club of Tennessee.  Kip scored 160 points to place first in the overall Boys 12-13 division. Previous Drive Chip And Putt Competitions His younger brother Zane competed in the 2022 National Finals. Kip is one of just 80 boys and girls who will compete in the National Finals on the grounds of Augusta National Golf Club on the Sunday before the 2024 Masters. There will be seven participants next year who’ve competed in the National Finals in the past, including Champa Visetsin of Sudbury, Mass., who has competed in both the 2021 and 2022 National Finals. Champa will be joined by Calista Han from Ohio who competed in the 2022 National Finals.  Hudson Knapp from Marietta, who competed in 2022.  Anna Midyett from Nebraska, who competed in 2023.  Emory Munoz from Illinois, who competed in 2023.  McKenna Nelson from Wisconsin who competed in 2021 and Lily Watcher from Florida who competed in 2023. Drive Chip and Putt Program Drive, Chip and Putt is conducted in partnership with the USGA, the masters Tournament and the PGA of America, Drive, Chip and Putt is a free, nationwide youth golf development program open to boys and girls, ages 7-15, in four age divisions.  The three pronged competition tests the skills essential to playing the game-accuracy in driving, chipping and putting. In 2024 the 80 golfers will represent 31 states, one Canadian province and Australia. Over the years, some of the best venues in the game have come to host regional finals.  This year included Scioto Country Club, TPC Boston, Aronimink Golf Club, Champions Golf Club, Sea Island Golf Club, Chambers Bay, Castle Pines Golf Club, Desert Mountain, The Golf Club of Tennessee and TPC Deere Run.
