Mariah Carey Throws Shade At The NFL Over Their Social Justice Commercial
During the Super Bowl last night, the NFL played a commercial that Mariah Carey didn’t appreciate. The “Inspire Change” spot talked about the brand’s commitment to embrace diversity and end systemic racism.
In the commercial, they pledged to commit $250 million to help end systemic racism and fight for social justice.
While our season is ending, our fight for equity is not.

Afterward, Mariah Carey seemed to throw a little shade at the organization. She posted a tweet that said, “Happy Colin Kaepernick Appreciation Day!” A fan then responded to her and said, “Don’t forget it’s also Janet Jackson appreciation day,” and she wrote back, “Yes it is!”
Happy Colin Kaepernick Appreciation Day!
