Beyonce To Celebrate The Class of 2020, Singer Joins Youtube’s Virtual Graduation
Beyonce will be celebrating the Class of 2020. Due to the quarantine and social distancing being in effect because of COVID-19, graduation ceremonies have been canceled nationally.
However, YouTube will honor the graduating class with the video platform’s “Dear Class of 2020” Livestream, an international virtual commencement ceremony featuring appearances and performances from today’s biggest stars, including Beyonce.
Beyonce is slated to give an inspirational message to the Class of 2020 during the virtual celebration, according to Rap-Up.
Beyonce will be joining a myriad of A-list celebrities, trailblazers, and YouTube creators, including Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Janelle Monáe, Taylor Swift, Ciara and Russell Wilson, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Kelly Rowland, Kerry Washington, and Kevin Durant, among others.
The Class of 2020 will also be graced with performances from Lizzo, Camila Cabello, Chloe x Halle, and Maluma. Following the graduation, a grad night party hosted by YouTube Music will commence featuring performances by Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, BTS, and CNCO. “Dear Class of 2020” will stream live on June 6 starting at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT.
