Where To Get Free Thanksgiving Meals In Augusta For Those In Need
Oftentimes when you think of Thanksgiving, it’s a time you get to be around your family, while feasting and sharing what you are thankful for.
Unfortunately, not everyone is capable of doing that for various reasons.
The city of Augusta understands that not everyone will be able to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal and fellowship with friends and family, so organizations around the CSRA have put together opportunities for those in need to enjoy a free Thanksgiving meal.

Heart to Heart Prescription Assistance and Special Events by Shelia hosts a Thanksgiving Day dinner and community event
November 23, Thanksgiving Day, these will be providing those in the community who are in need with food and care packages.
Turkey will be served alongside care packages that include clothing, toiletries, and donations are more.

Heart to Heart Protection Assistance is a non-profit organization that strives to provide pharmaceutical support to families in need.
Thanksgiving Meal and Turkey Giveaway at the Augusta Dream Center
Sunday, November 19, from 5 pm until 6 pm, the center will be providing a free turkey and fixings to take home for your own Thanksgiving dinner. There will also be an opportunity to sit down as a community and share a meal.
If you are looking for other ways to participate, there are opportunities to volunteer as well as sponsor a holiday meal. A $40 donation does provide a turkey and the fixings for a family of four!
