J. Cole’s hoop dreams are continuing!

In 2020, The Detroit Pistons asked the rapper to reach out for a tryout for the NBA team; the following year, Cole signed a deal with Rwanda Patriots for the Basketball Africa League. Cole was with the Patriots for a little over two weeks but now the rapper is getting ready to go to another professional basketball team.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported that the Off-Season creator signed a deal with the Scarborough Shooting Stars which is in the Canadian Elite Basketball League. The rapper will begin training camp this week in time for the season’s opener on Thursday (May 26).

The terms of Cole’s contract are unknown at the moment but it will sure gain attention from both the music and sports world for his season’s opener.
