LOS ANGELES, CA - APRIL 22: Letitia Wright attends the Los Angeles World Premiere of Marvel Studios' "Avengers: Endgame" at the Los Angeles Convention Center on April 23, 2019 in Los Angeles, California.

Black Panther Star Letitia Wright is being criticized for her anti-vaccine views on the set of Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Wright plays Shuri, a scientist and the sister of the late Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa. She is said to be spreading anti-vaccine sentiments, per The Hollywood Reporter, on the set of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

The Black Panther star came under fire last year when she reposted a controversial video from YouTube to Twitter as the speaker explained their skepticism of getting vaccinated. YouTube has since taken the video off of their site. She said in a now-deleted tweet, “you get canceled” if “you don’t conform to popular opinions,” per Yahoo.  She later deleted the tweet claiming, “intention was not to hurt anyone” and just wanted to raise “concerns with what the vaccine contains.” The actress now is completely off Twitter and has since “quietly parted ways with her entire U.S. team of representatives.”

In a now-deleted tweet, Avengers: Endgame co-star Don Cheadle said he will not “defend” Wright’s repost of the video but will “still won’t throw her away over it,” Page Six reports.
