A former Disney Contractor,Mark HunT, created a replica of Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion right here in Georgia. The house is located in Duluth, Georgia, and it is up for sale!
The six-bedroom, 5.5 bathroom, 9,467 square foot home is hitting the market for $2.2 million. Would you do it?
Building a home is one thing, but making it your own is what really makes it special and for this homeowner, he wanted it a bit spooky. The home is decorated inside and out with other items that give nods to the Disney attraction.
Have you ever heard of the two Disney movies Haunted Mansion? Well this is where those movies came from.
The original Disney Haunted Mansion opened at Disneyland in California in 1969.
Examples of Noted Similarity Between the Real Haunted Mansion and the Replica
The exterior of the house looks very similar to the original, with columns lining the front property, along with the railings lining the upper and lower levels.
At the front gates the home is labeled “The Haunted Mansion” which does mimic the homes gateway at the original mansion.
The inside of the home looks much like a regular home, but still has touches of the Haunted Mansion design.
The chandeliers throughout the home definitely embody that Haunted Mansion feel. The bathrooms in the replica has a Haunted Mansion poster hanging on the wall, but that’s nothing compared to this! When you use the cold water in the sink, the lights will flicker and an image of a ghost will appear in the mirror. Now that’s spooky!
