Cardi B is spilling the tea on her pregnancy with baby number three! During an Instagram Live, recorded by a fan and shared on X, the rapper gave all the details on how she "automatically" knew she was pregnant again. Cardi, who’s already mom to Kulture, 6, and Wave, 3, shares her kids with estranged husband Offset.

"It was around March 20 or March 16... it was around those days, right? I woke up one morning and my mouth tasted like copper. It literally tasted like copper. So I was like, 'Oh my gosh. This only happened to me when I'm pregnant,'" Cardi explains. "So I was like, d---. I automatically knew that I was pregnant."

Doing some mental math, Cardi thought she was about six or seven weeks along. But once she made it to New York and saw her OBGYN, she got a surprise. "She was like, 'You're not like seven weeks pregnant or six weeks pregnant. You're like 17 weeks pregnant.' And I'm like, 'What?' " Cardi remembers. "I was like, No f---ing way, I only had sex one time this year."

But when she saw the sonogram, things got real. "When I look [at the sonogram], it was a whole baby. It's not like a little bean, type of s---. It was a big a-- baby," she says. "And I ain't gonna lie to you, when I saw that sonogram and I saw that it's like a full baby, I saw 10 toes and 10 fingers, I got real, real, real, real emotional right away."

"And then I was like, 'What is it? What is it?' And my OB-GYN is like, 'It's a girl.' And when I found out it was a girl, I started crying even more because y'all know I love raising girls," she adds.

Earlier this month, Cardi welcomed her third baby on September 7, sharing the big news in an Instagram carousel. She’s all smiles, holding her newborn while rocking a colorful robe in a hospital bed.

In more photos and videos, Offset (her estranged husband from whom she filed for divorce in July) is seen cradling the baby. "The prettiest lil thing [flower emojis] 9/7/24 [heart emojis]," Cardi captioned the post. The proud parents also shared a sweet moment with their other kids in the hospital room, where Kulture even held her baby sister while Cardi beamed at her two girls.

The rapper also revealed that earlier this year, she underwent surgery to have more of her butt injections removed, two years after beginning the extraction process. “In January, right after I shot ‘Like What,’ I went and got surgery,” she shared on Instagram Live. “I got some more butt injections removed because you know it takes rounds to get your butt injections removed, and I also went to fix certain things with my fibrosis.”

She mentioned that despite getting two blood tests before the surgery, her pregnancy wasn’t detected. Although she was worried her baby girl might face complications due to the procedure, Cardi said her daughter’s birth was “perfect.”
