Wawa Could Be Making Its Debut In Georgia For The 2024 New Year
A popular convenience store could be coming to Georgia in the new year. Wawa has over 750 stores across 6 East Coast states. Those states are Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Florida. And soon Georgia could be added to that list in 2024. Wawa has plans to be built in Pooler, Georgia in 2024, which is located right outside of Savannah.
Wawa’s has what any other convenience store may have with gas, coffee, and food. But each one of those ordinary things is taken up a notch.
It’s said that the store has a large variety of coffee choices and even hot chocolate if you aren’t a coffee person. They also have a variety of milkshakes and Slurpees.
Wawa’s Food
Wawa sells ready-to-go breakfast, including Sizzlis breakfast sandwiches, which is one of their most popular meals, and hashbrowns.
During the holiday seasons, they have themed dishes and desserts such as pumpkin spice, turkey bowls, and hoagiefest. Hoagiefest happens in the summer month stating July until the end of summer and all hoagies are $4.99.
Wawa’s hoagies are another one of their staple food items. You can choose from any of their recipes or you can create your sandwich at the deli station.
Wawa is also known for its Wawa kiosk stations. These stations are where one can custom order a variety of food items. Some of those items include soup, quesadillas, mashed potatoes, breakfast burritos, paninis, and more.
Another unrelated-food plus for the gas station is that they have surcharge-free ATMs.
The proposed Savanah location is said to be at the intersection of Pooler Parkway and Pine Barren Road. Not only are they planning to open one location in Georgia, but plans have been approved to open another location in Bainbridge. Three more locations are under consideration: Hinesville, Brunswick, and Jesup.
No location in the CSRA has been added as a future location.
