Most Fun Cities In America- Where Do These Georgia Cities Rank?
There are some pretty fun cities in America, but which ones are the most fun? Also, where do some of our cities here in Georgia rank on the list? Don’t worry I’m here to fill you in! So if you’re looking for a city to visit on your next vacation, pay close attention to this list. It could have your next destination on it.
The folks over at WalletHub have ranked the most fun cities in America. They used three main categories when compiling the list. This categories include Entertainment and Recreation, Nightlife and Parties and Cost. I can tell you, there are three Georgia cities and two South Carolina cities on the list. Where do they rank? I’ll tell you that in a second. First, lets take a look at the top ten cities.

- Las Vegas, Nevada
- Orlando, Florida
- Miami, Florida
- Atlanta, Georgia
- San Francisco, California
- New Orleans, Louisiana
- Austin, Texas
- Chicago, Illinois
- Honolulu, Hawaii
- New York, New York
There you go! One of our Georgia cities ranked in the top five, and I totally agree. There is so much to do in Atlanta. Concerts, sporting events, there’s always something happening in the ATL.
So what about our other Georgia and South Carolina cities? Well Charleston, South Carolina ranked at number 29 and Columbia, South Carolina ranked at number 61. There are a couple more Georgia cities on the list too. Augusta ranked at 126 and Columbus, Georgia ranked at 133 on the list. There are 182 cities total on this list, and we’re not near the bottom! I am a bit surprised Savannah didn’t make the list. Also, Nashville, Tennessee was number 36 on the list, I definitely thought they would’ve been higher.
I will say this though, hopefully some of the decision makers here in the CSRA will see our rank, and work harder to bring more fun things to the area. I know they’re trying, and I hope they keep it up!
