Offset Gives Update On Current Relationship With Quavo
Offset and Quavo had been rumored to be at odds last year prior to the death of Migos member Takeoff. Offset is now addressing where the two stand after some time and their recent reunion at the BET Awards earlier this year.
“That’s my brother at the end of the day,” he said per Billboard. “We good though. We just spoke in Paris.”
Offset and Quavo continue to grieve Takeoff who was shot and killed in Houston last year. But Offset made it known that he and Quavo are going through emotions behind closed doors and it’s not meant for the public. He also mentioned that it would be possible for the two to come together in the studio again sometime in the future.

The two reunited on stage earlier this year as they honored Takeoff. They performed Quavo and Takeoff’s “Hotel Lobby,” and the Migos classic “Bad and Boujee.”
After the performance, Offset jumped on Instagram Live to show how much that performance meant to him.
“I love all my fans. I love of y’all. We did the BET performance, man. It was iconic, man,” Offset said during his Instagram Live. “It cleared my soul. Me and my brother Quay, man, we put that together within, like, 16 hours, like, 15 hours …We do that ’cause we’re some real stars. We do this music. We the greatest group to ever touch the mic. RIP my brother, Take. We did it for my brother Take. Me and Quay stood tall, brother to brother. And I appreciate everybody for supporting. It was a movie, it was a vibe. We needed that for the culture.”
As for music, Quavo released his tribute album Rocket Power back in August. It featured Young Thug, Future, BabyDrill, and a couple of verses by the late Takeoff.
Prior to Rocket Power, Quavo and Takeoff released Only Built for Infinity Links under the monikers Unc & Phew. The album dropped one month before Takeoff’s untimely death.
Offset has been creating his own lane for himself as a solo artist. He’s released singles “5 4 3 2 1,” “Code,” featuring Moneybagg Yo, “Jealousy,” featuring his wife Cardi B, and “Fan.” His second solo album Set It Off is expected to drop on Friday (Oct. 13).
