Tupac: Cops Claim Keefe D Sold Items Related To Rapper’s Murder
A retired police officer is speaking up about what he’s heard about Keefe D, a suspect in the murder of Tupac Shakur. Chris Carroll was one of the first law enforcement officials to arrive on the scene of the 1996 shooting of the rap icon. On Tuesday (Aug. 1), Carroll was interviewed by The Art of Dialogue where he spoke about the hip-hop icon’s death.
Carroll said that Keefe D has been bragging for years about the shooting. He said Keefe D was “openly telling everybody that he’s part of the murder.” Keefe D has said over the years that Orlando Anderson, his nephew, is the one who shot and ultimately killed Tupac. However, Keefe D claims he handed the gun to Anderson, Carroll says.
The retired cop also gave some insight into what he thinks is done with the evidence from the 1996 murder.
“I’ve heard rumors that he even had sold some items that he told people, y’know, were there that night. Whether that’s BS or not, I don’t know, but to think that not only is he admitting to being part of a murder but now he’s going to profit from the whole deal?”
Shakur was killed on Sept. 7, 1996, in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. He was 25.

Last month, the rap icon’s murder investigation was reopened. The Associated Press reported authorities in Nevada confirmed that they served a search warrant in connection to his murder.
On July 17, Keefe D’s wife Paula Clemons’ home was raided in connection to Tupac’s murder nearly 30 years ago. In the video obtained by TMZ, the Vegas Metro Police Department went to nearby Henderson, NV. Police asked for the people inside the home to come out with their hands up.
No arrests have ever been made in connection to the rapper’s death. Per AP, Las Vegas police have said witnesses refused to cooperate with law enforcement which led to the case never being solved. Nevada does not have a statute of limitations for prosecuting homicide cases.

The track appeared on Brown’s 1996 debut album Ill Na Na. This also marks the first time Lola has worked with Bryson.
