Cardi B Contemplated Suicide After Tasha K’s Blog Posts
Cardi B testified saying she wanted to take her own life after seeing the alleged lies that a blogger said about her a few years ago. The rapper and blogger are now in federal court for the incident.
Thursday (Jan. 13) morning Cardi took the stand telling the jury that “I wanted to commit suicide over the things” that Tasha K was saying about her, per TMZ. She broke down in tears after repeating that the blog posts made her feel suicidal.
Tasha K is on trial for libel after making several videos around 2018 and 2019 claiming that the “WAP” rapper was a prostitute and had contracted multiple STIs which led to the lawsuit by Cardi.
Cardi testified, “I felt defeated and depressed and I didn’t want to sleep with my husband.” This was during the time that Offset and Cardi welcomed their baby girl Kulture where she said she felt as if, “I didn’t deserve my kid.”
When asked what Cardi thinks about Tasha K she said, “I felt like only a demon could do that s—.”
