It’s official! Sony will be shutting down the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 3 and PSP as well as the PSN Store for PS Vita, to quote the recent email from Sony “in an effort to focus our resources for PlayStation Store on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5…”
The PlayStation Store for PS3 and PSP will end on July 2, 2021 followed by the PSN Store for the PS Vita on August 27, 2021. But don’t worry, Sony confirmed in a blog that you will still be able to play and re-download previously purchased games on these devices.
