Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, who are good friends and collaborators recently partnered to promote Ri Ri’s new skincare brand, Fenty Skin.

The two artists interviewed each other for a special double episode of GQ and Vogue‘s “Face to Face” series about their skincare and wellness.

Rihanna interviewed A$AP Rocky first, asking the “Fashion Killa” rapper 18 questions regarding his skincare routine, his skin type, and the last thing that the Harlem native purchased that was under $20.

“I had to discover face cleansing and skincare all at the same time when I was a young buck in the shower,” Rocky said. “You can’t wash your body with the same rag you wash your face with. I was lucky enough to be the type of guy that wants to wash my face.”


During the interview, Rocky recalled the 2012 BET Awards and his first red carpet look. “You could have used some Fenty Skin back then,” Rihanna joked.

Rocky then turned the tables and asked Rihanna 15 questions. The singer and entrepreneur discussed her last purchase under $20, whether she prefers a jacket or umbrella, and her beauty icon, which is her mother.

“My entire concept of beauty came from her,” Rihanna said. “I was always so intrigued by her. I wanted to dress like her, I wanted to look like her, I wanted to do my hair like her, do my makeup like her.”
