NFL Player Quit On His Team In The Middle Of The Game
Buffalo Bills cornerback Vontae Davis up and retired in the middle of the game this past Sunday.
Now it’s no secret that the Buffalo Bills have struggled in their first two games this season, but it may be worse than we thought. Vontae Davis was once considered one of the best cornerbacks in the league when he was playing for the Indianapolis Colts, but now, at least in his mind, things have changed drastically.
The Bills were playing the high powered offense of the Los Angeles Chargers and when they went into halftime down 28-6, Vontae Davis decided that he didn’t want to play anymore, like ever.
Linebacker Lorenzo Alexander explained the situation from a teammate’s standpoint below.

Alexander is right, no matter the circumstances, you don’t just quit on your team in the middle of the season, let alone the middle of a game.
Vontae explained himself with this post.
I don’t agree with this move what so ever. It teaches the children that quitting in the middle of something is okay when I believe it is not.
