Jay-Z & Eminem To File Lawsuit Against The Weinstein Company
It just keeps getting worse for The Weinstein Company.
Just two months after the studio filed for bankruptcy protection, Jay-Z and Eminem are looking to sue The Weinstein Company over unpaid royalties.
According to The Blast, Jay and Em have filed a lawsuit claiming TWC owes the two over $800,000.

According to Complex, the studio owes Jay-Z $240,000 for the Kalief Browder docuseries and another $240,000 for the Trayvon Martin project.
Eminem says that he was promised $352,000 for his song and production work on the soundtrack to 2015 film Southpaw.
The Weinstein Company filed for bankruptcy back in March after Harvey Weinstein started to face multiple sexual misconduct allegations. The money owed to Jay-Z and Eminem is minor compared to how much they apparently owe Quentin Tarantino. According to IndieWire, the director is owed $4.5 million for his work on The Hateful Eight, Django, Inglorious Basterds, & Grindhouse.
Seems as though Harvey’s company filing for bankruptcy was the right thing to do, but I highly doubt TWC will be able to come back from this, ever.
