Zendaya has been a Zen-slaya on the red carpet in recent years. It seems fitting that the Euphoria star's name means “giving thanks” in the language of the African Shona tribe because that's what we do every time we see her turn a piece of clothing into a work of art.

She was born Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman in Oakland, California, to teacher parents Claire Stoermer and Kazembe Ajamu Coleman on September 1, 1996. Her father is African-American, while her mother has German and Scottish ancestry; she is the youngest of five older siblings.

Z began her career as a child model working for Macy’s and Old Navy, and as a backup dancer before gaining prominence for her role as Rocky Blue on the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up. She made her film breakthrough in 2017, starring as Michelle “MJ” Jones in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017). Zendaya would reprise that role for the latter Spider-Man live-action films starring opposite her beau, Tom Holland. The couple has been dating since around 2016. However, they didn't directly confirm their relationship for years until 2021, when they were spotted making out in Holland's car in Los Angeles.

In 2019, her role in the HBO drama series Euphoria catapulted her acting career even further, starring as a teenager named Rue struggling with drug addiction. This led her to become the youngest winner of the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

Besides her role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Zendaya has proved she can be quite the dramatic actress. In 2021, she starred alongside John David Washington in the black-and-white romance drama Malcolm & Marie. As for her latest film roles, Zendaya starred in the second Dune installment as Chani, the Fremeni who becomes Paul Atreides' (Timothee Chalamet) love interest in the confirmed trilogy. Then, in Challengers, Zendaya portrays the role of Tashi, a former tennis prodigy turned coach. Married to a champion on a losing streak (Mike Faist), Tashi’s strategy for her husband’s redemption takes a surprising turn when he must face off against the washed-up Patrick (Josh O’Connor) – his former best friend and Tashi’s former boyfriend when they were teenagers.

Take a look below at how Zendaya consistently pulls off looks that are sultry, sexy, and sweet:

While attending the Fendi Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2024 show as part of Paris Fashion Week at the start of 2024, Zendaya rocked this divine plum gown by the French fashion house. The sweater-like material of the cold-shoulder dress was made tres chic paired with the actress' micro bangs and low, sleek bun. What adds to the allure of Z's sultry look is the fit of the bodycon dress with opera cutout gloves to match. Keeping the color scheme in the wine family, she donned a deep burgundy lip with her smoky eye makeup.

Moving from runways to press tours, Zendaya attended the red carpet for 'Dune: Part Two' in Mexico City two weeks later. Her fashion for the first installment of the sci-fi film has already blown us away, and this first taste of the fashion let us know we were in for more treats. Dressed in an espresso brown cropped turtleneck, Zendaya's underbust cleavage pokes out. The matching Bottega Veneta skirt features a thick leather band that goes across the lower half of her long and lean torso , with thigh slits.

On Valentine's Day in the Big Smoke, Zendaya continues to make us swoon while attending the London photocall for 'Dune: Part Two.' Instead of going with the expected, Zendaya opted for this deep purple structured suit set. The star matched her makeup accordingly, all while keeping her hair pushed back to keep the focus on her striking features. She paired her plunging Roksanda blazer with a matching knee-length skirt, balancing the sexiness and modesty, all while giving us a fresh and futuristic vibe. She layered a pair of dress pants, that pooled near her Louboutin heels, below her skirt and she accessorized with many chunky gold cuff earrings.

Zendaya made one hell of a statement at the 'Dune 2' World Premiere with this shockingly wild, yet gorgeous fembot suit. Though the silver cutout suit looks brand new and perfect for 'Dune,' it is nearly 30 years old vintage Mugler from the brand’s fall-winter 1995 collection. The clear cutouts are on the breasts, midriff, arms, thighs, traps, and buttocks. We are just absolutely floored by how stunning and sexy she looks!

Taking things so sweet and pure, Zendaya donned this baby peach leather overall, matching with her 'Dune' co-star, Timothee Chalamet. Complete with plenty of zippers, a waist-snatching belt, and built-in kneepads suitable for combat, she even matched the suit with a high heel in the same color and finish. Since they were in South Korea, Zendaya and Chalamet chose to wear South Korean designer Juun.J's spring-summer 2024 collection.

There is something so intoxicating when a woman has hair framing her face. With a dramatic side part, the fashionista perfectly balances the Asian influence with the dress' colors and circuit design. The dark grey suit and pencil skirt set is from Givenchy's 1999 Fall 1999 and is embellished with a red laser cut electric circuit designed by Alexander McQueen that also glows in the dark. Keeping things modest yet sultry, she paired black tights with black Christian Louboutin pumps, making her long and lean.

Hitting the Big Apple's premiere, Zendaya let her long, curly locks run wild, contrasting against her white longsleeve gown. The Stéphane Rolland Couture dress featured a major cut-out that totally looks like it could be a sacrificial symbol for the movie. The gown featured an angular open panel that started from her chest, split to wrap around her hips, then ended just above the knee.

We cannot get over this plunging fringe gown the star wore to the fashion awards. Evoking both flapper and bohemian style, Zendaya wore her long, curly auburn hair down, pinning some hairs away from her face. The 2011 Roberto Cavalli maxi dress features a plunging neckline, outfitted with tons of silver jewelry, including fun arm bands.
