North Augusta Growth – A New Coffee Shop Is Coming In 2024
The city of North Augusta will continue to see growth in 2024. There’s a new national coffee brand that will add a new location in Greenwood and North Augusta in the new year. Judd Larkins and his father, Robert Larkins, have signed a three-unit franchise agreement with Scooter’s Coffee, LLC.
Franchise Ventures
Judd Larkins and his father work together at an electrical subcontracting business founded by Robert. They also co-own a donut franchise with Judd’s two brothers. When deciding on their next venture, they wanted a company that was committed to excellent customer service.
The Larkins learned about Scooter’s Coffee and found out the original founders, Don and Linda Eckles, are still actively running the company. They felt that was a great indication of how dedicated the company would be to its customer service.
Scooter’s Coffee
This coffee franchise is based in the Midwest. They got their start in 1998 in Bellevue, Nebraska, and have seen record breaking growth. As part of that growth, they have expanded throughout the United States.
Scooter’s Coffee is a drive-thru coffee franchise. They are based on a 664 square foot drive-thru only kiosk model. This model, along with their dedication to fast, friendly service, is to help customers “scoot in” on their way to wherever they’re going for the day.
The brand specializes in espresso drinks, smoothies, and baked-from-scratch pastries. Their signature drink is the Caramelicious®. In addition, they serve hot and iced teas, premium-grade brewed coffee, cold brew, and more.
The coffee beans used by Scooter’s Coffee are roasted especially for the company by their affiliate company, Harvest Roasting, located in Omaha, Nebraska.
The company is committed to serving high-quality drinks with speedy service. Their core values are Integrity, Love, Humility, and Courage. And their coffee brand promise is: “Amazing People, Amazing Drinks… Amazingly Fast!®”
Scooter’s Coffee has grown and now has nearly 750 stores across 30 states. They are working to have more than 1,000 stores by the end of 2024, and two of those will be right here in the state of South Carolina!
They also sell their coffee online. You can order ground coffee, whole bean coffee, single serve cups (K-Cups), and drinkware. They also have a coffee subscription option.
