CSRA News: Small Aircraft Crash in Richmond County
No one was seriously hurt when a small aircraft crashed in Richmond County Sunday evening.
The sheriff’s office said the pilot attempted to take-off from a makeshift runway behind a home in the 4700 block of Rollins Road around 7:30 p.m. The pilot is being treated for non life-threatening injuries at Augusta University Medical Center. One other person onboard also escaped serious injury.
