Tom Morello, Bring Me the Horizon Team Up on New Track ‘Let’s Get the Party Started’
Tom Morello is joined by Bring Me the Horizon on “Let’s Get the Party Started,” the latest single from his new album The Atlas Underground Fire.
Morello said of the track via his social media channels, “This song was written on three continents — Oli [Skykes] was in Brazil, Jordan [Fish] was in England and I was here in L.A. It was a real United Nations of metal coming together (remotely) at the height of the pandemic. I think it captures the angst and frustration of that crazy time boiling over into an all-time mosh pit. This song also has one of my favorite guitar solos that I’ve played in quite a while, as I was really losing my mind and channeled it through the amp.”
“Let’s Get The Party Started” follows the release of Morello’s cover of “Highway to Hell” featuring Bruce Springsteen and Eddie Vedder, the lead single from The Atlas Underground Fire.
As previously reported, the LP is due out October 15 and also features guest appearances by Chris Stapleton, grandson, Mike Posner, Damian Marley, phem, Protohype, Refused’s Dennis Lyxzén and Sama’ Abdulhadi.
The Atlas Underground Fire is currently available for pre-order in a variety of formats at TomMorello.com, while “Let’s Get The Party Started” is available for streaming and download here.
