The Goodyear Blimp is Available to Rent on Airbnb
The Iconic Goodyear Blimp is now available to rent on Airbnb.
The Blimp currently calls Mogadore, Ohio home, and will be available to help celebrate college football’s 150th anniversary. The Blimp will be available October 22, 23, and 24 in the lead up to the rival Notre Dame vs. University of Michigan game on October 26.
According to the Airbnb listing, the Blimp will stay on the ground while it has guests and will be parked in a hangar on the waterfront of Wingfoot Lake. It fits two, has one bedroom, one bed, and a private bath. The property is fashionably decorated, is decked out in blue and yellow furniture and has football memorabilia all throughout it. The outdoor area has seating, games, a bar, a fire pit and, of course, a flat-screen TV for guests to watch football.
Anyone who wishes to stay in the Blimp can get it at a reasonable price of $150 a night. Reservations open on October 15.
Fun fact: The Goodyear Blimp will also be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame, an honor that is usually reserved for coaches or players.
