How Can I Help The Earth Outside Of Earth Day?
There are several ways you can help the planet outside of Earth Day and Earth Week. Here are a few ways to help keep the planet healthy 24/7:
- Shop at thrift stores! Shopping is always a plus but with this, you are not only supporting some sort of organization, but you also are reusing items.
- Dispose properly of household hazardous waste
- Plant trees. Every tree is a mini-carbon sink. In our climate, the shade cast from trees lowers cooling needs.
- pick up trash when you see it on the ground even if it isn’t yours.
