Experience Chick-fil-A Goodness On A Pizza – The Chain Is Testing A New Menu Item
Chick-fil-A is one of my favorite fast-food spots. There’s just something about that chicken that’s irresistible. But I also love pizza. So, what if you could merge the two? Chick-fil-A Pizza? It’s actually something that the chain is testing, at least at one particular location for now.
Little Blue Menu
Back in September 2023, Chick-fil-A opened a restaurant called Little Blue Menu. The restaurant is located in College Park, Maryland. And the restaurant’s name pays tribute to Chick-fil-A’s founder, S. Truett Cathy. He opened his first restaurant in Hapeville, Georgia. When Cathy would test new menu items, he would present them on a blue menu.
While customers can order Chick-fil-A classic items at Little Blue Menu, there are additional items on the menu. The restaurant also serves wings, burgers, onion rings, brussels sprouts, and sweet potato tots. In addition to their brick-and-mortar location, the restaurant also has experimented with a food truck. In fact, there is a Little Blue Menu food truck in Athens!
According to the Chick-fil-A website, Little Blue Menu is testing the food truck in Athens, serving select menu items. They also note the schedule, menu, and rental availability varies. You can keep up with where they’ll be on Instagram: @LBMFoodTruck_Athens. This food truck is different from the Chick-fil-A Food Trucks – those are locally owned and operated by select operators of Chick-fil-A restaurants.
Chick-fil-A Pizza
Ok, so let’s get to the real reason you’re reading this… To find out more about this Chick-fil-A Pizza! Unfortunately, it looks like this new menu item is just going to be at Little Blue Menu in College Park, Maryland. Our hopes are that if it does well there, they’ll expand! And even if it’s just to the food trucks, the one in Athens isn’t too far away. We could always make a little day trip, right?
According to the Little Blue Menu Instagram, the pizzas were set to launch on March 18th. The Senior Culinary Lead Developer, Stuart Tracy, said they noticed how customers like to experiment with Chick-fil-A items at home, and they are joining in on the fun.
From the Little Blue Menu website:
“Pizza is a crowd favorite for a reason. It’s easy, satisfying and offers endless ways to customize. We love it too. So, we decided it was time to put our own spin on this classic dish. Of all the pizza options out there, only one comes with the quality, fun flavors you’ve come to expect from Chick-fil-A® and Little Blue Menu®. This puts Little Blue Menu pizza in a class all its own. Your taste buds already know the flavors, so it’s love before first bite.”

Other Chick-fil-A Created Restaurants
As a Georgia native, I’ve had the joy of experiencing Chick-fil-A all my life. I grew up not too far from the original location. As a kid, I remember going to the location in Griffin, Georgia, which we referred to as the Dwarf House. It even had a tiny door that we loved to go in and out of. That location featured a fast-food side, as well as a sit-down/dine-in side. If I remember, the dine-in side had more menu items than just a regular Chick-fil-A.
According to the Chick-fil-A website, the Dwarf House was modeled after Truett Cathy’s first restaurant. And it offers sit down, counter, and drive-thur service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It also includes specialty items on the menu like green beans, fried okra, cornbread, and chicken salad.
While the Dwarf House in Griffin was torn down and turned into your modern Chick-fil-A, the website does show there are still five Dwarf House locations. They are primarily around the Atlanta metro. One of those is in Fayetteville, Georgia, which is also the location for Truett’s Luau.
Truett’s Luau is another Chick-fil-A restaurant, but this one features Hawaiian-style fast food and Polynesian decor.
And yet another Chick-fil-A restaurant: Truett’s Diner. This is in Griffin, Georgia. It’s a different location than where the Dwarf House was. It looks like a retro diner and serves more than traditional Chick-fil-A fare, but it also has a fast food side as well.
