Georgia Has One of America’s Best Oktoberfest Celebrations
Oktoberfest originated in Munich, Germany, in 1810 to celebrate the marriage of Ludwig I, Prince of Bavaria, to Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen. According to the History Channel, it began with horse races and later added an agricultural fair and food stalls. In the 20th century, beer halls became a part of the festival. Today, Oktoberfest is celebrated widely in the United States, usually from late September to early October. It brings together people from various backgrounds to enjoy traditions, festivities, contests, dancing, music, parades, and traditional German food.
USA Today’s, 10Best compiled a list of the best Oktoberfest celebrations in the country. They had a group of experts put forward the nominees. Then, their editors narrowed it down to the final ones. From there, readers got to have their say and vote on the ultimate winners.

Yes, the title of this list did in fact make me think of that very viral clip of Emma D’Arcy and Olivia Cooke during their press tour for House of the Dragon. BUT… that’s not why we’re here. We’re here to talk about t-shirts and beer. Two things that have seemingly made the world go round for the last few centuries.
If you’re a beer lover, you know two things to be true: 1) you usually have a favorite beer that will almost always order unless you are pressed to be more spontaneous. And 2) you probably enjoy a good beer-related joke or piece of merchandise. While I can’t virtually give you your favorite beer through the computer screen, I can help with the latter thing. So, I’ve found a ton of fun beer t-shirts that I think you will absolutely enjoy owning and wearing. Check it out below!
