CSRA Blood Center Has Found A Way To Help National Blood Shortage
The American Red Cross recently announced that there is a blood shortage going on in America. The non-profit organization states that distribution to the hospitals and medical centers is out outpacing donations being made. Emergency Supplies of donated blood have been described as critically low.
Since this is a nationwide shortage, the CSRA has found a way to do its part.
Shepeard Community Blood Center is having a blood drive. The first-ever Donation Domination Blood Drive will take place Monday through Friday, September 11- 15. This blood drive is not like any other blood drive, it’s a battle for the blood between Georgia fans vs. Carolina Fans ahead of the highly anticipated Georgia Bulldogs and the South Carolina Gamecocks game.
Each person that donates blood will score points for there school’s team. The results will be shared each day, but the winning team will be decided at the end of the week.
To participate you just have to visit any Shepeard Community Donation Center. All donors get special gifts including a FREE Sonic Route 44 drink!
