Student Shot at T.W. Josey High School
There’s a heavy police presence near T.W. Josey High School due to a shooting at the school late this morning.
Richmond County Sheriff Richard Roundtree confirmed that a shooting did take place inside the school and one student is currently being sought.
The victim was shot in the finger and does not have life-threatening injuries, according to Roundtree. He said they have identified the shooter, but he is still being sought.
The building was evacuated and parents are now being told their students can be picked up at the school’s stadium.
