CSRA News: Temporary Lane Closure in Columbia County
Columbia County and E.R. SNELL want to give drivers notice of the temporary lane closure with lane shift on Lewiston Road.
The upcoming lane closure will happen next week. Between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (February 28-March 4), expect intermittent lane closure.
The closure will allow paving on Lewiston Road between Meadowlark Lane and Mill Branch Road.
Drivers can expect delays and are encouraged to seek an alternate route.
This project is part of the roadway-widening project for Lewiston Road.
Reminders when approaching a work zone:
- Slow down
- Allow extra distance between vehicles
- Watch for warning signs
- Obey road crew flaggers
- Expect the unexpected
- Plan ahead, and seek an alternate route or allow additional commute time during this roadwork.
