Nicki Minaj’s Brother Facing Life In Prison
It looks like Nicki Minaj’s brother, Jelani Maraj, 38, could be put away for the rest of his life for molesting his 11-year-old stepdaughter back in 2015. According to Newsday, earlier this month Maraj tried to get his case overturned due to so-called jury misconduct. However, a New York State Supreme Court Justice found that wasn’t the case due to lack of proof. The brother of his stepdaughter testified that he witnessed the abuse, even though Maraj hit and threatened him if he said a word about the abuse. Nov. 18 is Maraj’s sentencing date. This is another reminder of why it’s important to watch who we allow around our children.
