Georgia Woman Wanted By Police After Shooting Man In Chest
Authorities are searching for a Georgia woman after she reportedly shot a man on Saturday.
According to CBS46, the woman, 46-year-old Crystal Carter, fired a gun at a man over the weekend — Striking him in the chest.
At this time, the relationship between the suspect and the victim is not clear.
After the shooting, she then drove the victim to a Hiawassee hospital in his vehicle — Before fleeing the area.
The victim, William Henderson, was transported to another hospital, where he is recovering.
The man’s vehicle was later found abandoned in a parking lot nearby.
Police believe the woman may be in North Carolina.
The suspect’s vehicle was found in Clay County, North Carolina, however, Carter was nowhere to be found.
Police have issued a warning to citizens that Carter is most likely armed and should be considered dangerous.
