A woman was found deceased inside a home in Augusta on Friday.
Police and Firefighters were dispatched to the home on Ridgewood Drive yesterday.
According to WFXG, once Firefighters extinguished the flames, they found a woman in the home.
The woman, identified as Monique Johnson, 51, is dead, and the suspect is on the run.
Authorities have released the name and the description of the suspect.
Police are currently searching for Darryl Eugene. He is described as a black male, who is 5 foot 8 inches tall.
Eugene might be traveling in a Nissan Altima that has a Georgia license plate: RIG0731.
People are being urged to use caution if they come into contact with Eugene.
Police believe he is armed.
