The Plaza Hotel Is Offering The Ultimate ‘Home Alone 2’ Experience
For those who are fans of ‘Home Alone 2,’ you understand how rad it is to live like Kevin McCallister in the Plaza Hotel.
Now that 1992 movie dream is finally coming true. Feel free to recreate the legendary character’s Big Apple excursion with the Home Alone 2 “Kevin McCallister Experience”.
The Plaza Hotel decided to start this marketing campaign to honor the 25th Anniversary of the movie. 20th Century Fox is also teaming up with the hotel to bring customers this experience.
If you are looking to live like Kevin, the hotel will be offering this experience from November 17th, 2017 to January 31st, 2018. Sadly, Tim Curry will not be a part of the package.

According to the Plaza’s press release, the package includes “a branded backpack, copy of the ‘Anniversary Edition’ Blue-Ray Paint Can with all 5 Home Alone films and for the literal cherry on top, this booking option will include a complimentary in-room plaza-style-sundae cart ordered via room service.”
Guests will also be able to work with the concierge Team to gain express passes to the “Empire State building, access to Wollman Rink, a limousine pizza journey through NYC and personalized vacation photographer, Flytographer, to capture these moments and turn them into memories.”

You will also be able to see a variety of filming locations which appeared in the legendary movie. Guests can dine on 90s food classics like “SpaghettiOs, gourmet hot pockets, Charcuterie Lunchables, Funyun Rings, and Sunny-D and Zima inspired cocktails.”
Essentially, whomever decides to buy the package is going to be reenacting the entire film. Rates for the experience starts at $895.
So, if you don’t remember what happened in the film, maybe the movie deserves a rewatch. After all, the first thing you’re going to have to do to truly recreate the film is to miss your family’s flight to their vacation.
