We Don’t Know How We Feel About Chicken Flavored Beer
There are a lot of flavor infused beers on the market.
Most include either fruits or even favorite childhood cereals, but none are as bizarre as this beer. Veil Brewing Co., a beer company based in Virginia, is currently experimenting with chicken flavor beer. Yes, that is right, there is a beer that tastes like your favorite meat out on the market.

The company collaborated with Evil Twin Brewing to create Fried Fried Chicken Chicken. This drink is not going to taste like a slushy chicken, but more like an IPA. Registers at 8% ABV, Thrillist has stated the drink has flavors of citrus and pine.

In order to get the chicken taste, the company uses Chick-Fil-A chicken. One of the company’s Instagram videos, you can see one of their employees taking handfuls of chicken and placing it to be mixed with beer.

About .4% of the fried chicken is used in the actual beer. Sadly, the small percentage of chicken does not make for an overwhelming flavor.
The idea of the rare beer was actually inspired by the founder of Evil Twin. While eating at Cracker Barrel, he was fascinated by America’s fascination with fried chicken. In order to pay homage to their love, he figured to marry both chicken and beer together.

Since the beer is such a rare combination, it is a little pricey. A four-pack, which Veil Brewing Co. has on their shelves, runs for $18.50. The worst part? You can only purchase the strange concoction in Richmond, Virginia. Their limited edition 16-ounce cans are not going to be on the shelves forever! If you are in the Virginia area, this is definitely somewhere to stop in your travels.
If you drink one of these, does this mean that you are also eating at the same time? We could only hope so!
