Hurry Up And Tweet Oreo – Here’s Why!
Are you a fan of Oreos? What about free Oreos? Well, thanks to a simple hashtag, this dream can be a reality. Oreo has been running their #MyOreoCreation campaign since May. According to Bustle, they are “letting fans propose new, unusual, and sometimes just flat-out bizarre flavor combos for classic Oreo cookies.”
Yes, that is right! The famous cookie company is calling on their fans to design their next flavor. Depending on if Oreo likes your flavor and if it is not something too weird, they will create the customized cookies. Those who were selected were sent their cookie creation!
This is not a new idea for the company. They have been releasing a series of delicious limited-edition cookies. You may have seen some at your local grocery stores like Cake or Pumpkin Spice.

However, thanks to this new campaign, you do not have to work at the Oreo headquarters to pitch an idea. If you have ever thought “this would make a good Oreo flavor”, then this is perfect for you. As the contest continues, not only will select people to receive copies of their creations, but one person will win a grand prize. The person who wins the contest will receive a cash prize.
People who have already been selected have been raving about their cookies online. Within the last few weeks, the company began sending out their first batch of limited edition ideas. Each person who received a package has been able to taste two of their ideas.

Jessica Segarra, one of the cookie recipients, submitted to have a Kettle Corn flavor. She posted on social media that she received her flavor! In the package was the two cookies as well as a note that read “Thanks for sending us your idea. We thought it was so delicious, we turned it into this one-of-a-kind creation just for you straight from the wonder vault. Enjoy!”
