Yes, this may sound like something that is too good to be true or the premise of a Willy Wonka sequel, but it is completely true.
Over the years, Oreos has had a lot of different flavor varieties. For those who are not Oreo connoisseurs, according to Thrillist, here are a list of past flavors: berry, chocolate cookie, golden cookie, chocolate creme, birthday cake, mint creme, lemon, peanut butter, s’mores, and Reese’s peanut butter cup.
The well-known cookie company is currently looking for their next best flavor. They have asked America to pick out what they dream of having between the two chocolate crisps. The competition, which is called #MyOreoCreation, will allow the general public to pick out the next flavor as well as will $500,000.
According to the competition’s website, entering your idea is very simple. You can either enter it online, text your idea to 58526, post about your idea on Twitter or Instagram, and respond to Oreo with your delicious idea. If you are posting your plan on Twitter or Instagram, make sure use the hashtag mentioned about as well as #Contest in order to enter. If you forget the hashtags, unfortunately, it will not be eligible to win.
This mouth-watering competition will only be running until July 14th. So, you better have your ideas entered within the next couple of weeks! If you make it into the final round of the competition, you will be hooked up with a sweet stack of cash as well. Three people who make it into the final round will receive $25,000 and see their flavor on grocery store shelves nationwide. The one grand prize winner will not only receive $500,000, but will also see their cookie be made into mass production. All winners will be determined by fan votes!
