Best City for Singles? It might surprise you!
February is the month of love… and if you’re single, you’re either looking to mingle or you’ve had enough! Plus, with the COVID-19 pandemic, it made dating even more difficult.
Sure, things have improved a little since the beginning of the pandemic, but there are still some lingering effects. Like people with financial issues… and dating can be expensive. But part of that is also dependent on where you live. Some cities have great spots for dating activities, such as dining out or watching a movie, that are cheaper than other places.
Okay, so maybe it’s not too expensive to dine out or watch a movie in Augusta. But what about the number of potential dating prospects? According to the latest U.S. Census Bureau estimates, nearly 50% of the population is unmarried- meaning never married, divorced or widowed. That doesn’t mean that the ratios are the same in every city though! Of course you have online dating, which can extend your reach. But if you’re looking to find love closer to home, it could be challenging depending on your location.
