A new Chick-fil-A restaurant is set to open its doors in Augusta on Thursday, Jan. 15, bringing restaurant jobs and a splash of community celebration to the area.

The location at 4329 Belair Frontage Road near I-20 and Jimmie Dyess Parkway will begin serving guests this week, and is focused on convenience with services like drive-thru, carry-out, delivery, mobile pickup and a walk-up window.

Local Chick-fil-A Owner-Operator Adam Edwards, who has lived in the Augusta area for 10 years, says the restaurant will aim to blend fast service with community care. The new location is expected to create around 90 jobs.

"Augusta has been home for my family for the past 10 years, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to keep serving this community — not only through food and hospitality, but by caring for our neighbors and finding meaningful ways to give back," said Edwards. "My vision for this new restaurant is simple: to serve, care and grow my Team Members and the community we’re a part of."

As part of the opening festivities, customers who stop by on opening day wearing cow-print outfits — whether a full suit or simple accessory — can redeem a free entrée or kid’s meal at the drive-thru or walk-up window. Offer details vary depending on the time of day and menu item.

Chick-fil-A also plans a local donation tied to the launch. The company is giving $25,000 to the Golden Harvest Food Bank through Feeding America to support hunger relief efforts in the Augusta region. In addition, the restaurant will take part in Chick-fil-A’s Shared Table program, partnering with a local church to redirect surplus food to neighbors in need.

The new restaurant’s hours will run Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. — and even outside the opening day promotion, customers can expect the familiar menu favorites the chain is known for, served with the hospitality Chick-fil-A emphasizes.
