Counter-Casual Chicken Restaurant Signs Agreement For Expansion Into Augusta
In July, the counter-casual chicken restaurant, Super Chix, announced the signing of a new franchise development agreement. This agreement is for at least 8 additional restaurants to be developed in the greater Atlanta and Augusta, GA markets.
These new restaurants in the Georgia market are owned and being developed by Divyesh Patel and Jig Patel and their operating team. This is a well-established and experienced development group with success in business startup, expansion, restaurant operations, and development.
The additional restaurants in the franchise development agreement in Georgia bring the total to more than 300 future Super Chix restaurants. The brand has gained momentum and attention, bringing commitments for restaurant locations in 23 states. They are expecting major growth through 2024/2025. This year alone, the expectation is 10 to 12 new restaurant openings.
Super Chix currently has 31 existing locations.

Super Chix was founded by Nick Ouimet, with the first location opened in Dallas, Texas, in 2014.
The restaurant prides itseld on recipes that celebrate chicken and also keep it simple. They are known for “The Last True Chicken Sandwich.” They use fresh, never frozen chicken that’s marinated in store, grilled, or hand-breaded and cooked in peanut oil which is free from additives.
In addition, their fries are hand-cut, using only the highest quality, fresh potatoes. They also specialize in top-notch toppings that are sliced by hand. Sauces are also made in house including ranch, honey mustard, a signature Super Chix sauce, buffalo, Korean BBQ, and the best-selling Nashville hot chicken sauce.
Fresh premium custard is another specialty. It’s hand-dipped in cones or cupse, or in milkshakes and fusions. They make their own vanilla and rich chocolate blends each morning in store and feature a special flavor of the week.
