Smokeshow Southern Style BBQ Is Finally Getting A Restaurant In Evans
For years now, we’ve enjoyed the Smokeshow Southern Style BBQ food trucks around the CSRA. Maybe you’ve tried their BBQ at one of those food trucks, or maybe you’ve had it at an event they’ve catered. Either way, you know it’s delicious, and soon you’ll be able to enjoy their BBQ at a sit down restaurant located in Evans.
Evans Is Getting Ready For A ‘Smokeshow’
A few days ago, a picture of a ‘coming soon’ sign started making the rounds on social media, and a lot of people, including me, got excited! The sign popped up in front of the Smokeshow food truck on Washington Road in Evans near the Mullins Crossing and Mullins Colony shopping centers. According to the Smokeshow Southern Style BBQ Facebook page, the exact address for the restaurant will be 4275 Washington Road in Evans.
If you’re familiar with the area, that is where the old location of Escape Outdoors used to be.
I’d been hearing rumors that Smokeshow was opening an actual brick and mortar restaurant in that spot for a while. However, every time I’d drive by that area, I wouldn’t see any indication of it. I would just see the Smokeshow food truck there, which is always a welcome sight. But seeing that sign confirmed that the rumors I’d heard were true!
Smokeshow Southstyle BBQ In Evans
I think this is awesome! It’s another local food option for the CSRA, and it’s great for Evans, which has been growing like crazy in recent years. We don’t know what the timeline is for when the Smokeshow restaurant will open. On their Facebook page, the folks at Smokeshow said as soon as more details became available they would let everyone know. Hopefully, it will be soon.
In the meantime, you can still enjoy their food at one of the food trucks across the area, or have them cater an event for you. Here is their website.
