A new study by Looper looked into IMBb’s list of best Christmas movies of all time and analyzed Google search trends data to find the most searched-for holiday movie in every U.S. state in 2023 and this is what it revealed!
The most popular movie in Georgia, based on Google search trends for 2023, is Miracle on 34TH Street!
Wow, is this a shocker to anyone else?
A little about Miracle on 34th Street is that a story that took place between Thanksgiving and Christmas time. A divorced New York mother needed someone to play Santa Clause, so she hired an old man to play him at Macy’s. The man makes claims to be the real Santa Clause, of course everyone thinks this many are insane.
Miracle on 34th Street also seemed to be the most popular in the state of Illinois.
Christmas with the Kranks was revealed to be the number one movie searched in most states. Those 7 states were Arizona, Connecticut, Indiana, Kentucky, Vermont, Virginia, Washington
Christmas With the Kranks Stars Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis, who in the movie find out that their daughter won’t be home for Christmas so they “cancel Christmas” and prepare for a cruise to the Caribbean. Then all of a sudden things change when she announces she can make it home for Christmas with her new fiancé – so she has to scramble to bring the Christmas spirit back into the house.
