Drake Seemingly Responds To Metro Boomin’s Tweet
Drake went to his Instagram Story on Sunday to seemingly respond to the shade.
“Damn. little mans, I’m just tryin’ to do me/ If the record’s two mil, I’m just tryin’ to move three,” Drizzy wrote quoting Jay-Z’s 2001 song “Heart of the City (Ain’t No Love).”
While it seemed that Metro was feeling a type of way about Her Loss, he is credited on the album. The St. Louis hitmaker produced “More M’s” on the 2022 project. Drake and him have also worked in the past on two popular songs from both of the musicians’ discography. The two worked together on “Jumpman” which also enlists Future from their 2015 joint project What a Time to Be Alive, and “Knife Talk” with Project Pat and 21 Savage from Certified Lover Boy.
Her Loss and Heroes & Villains debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last year. Her Loss was Drake’s 12th No. 1 album and 21’s third leader. Heroes & Villains was Metro’s third chart-topper.
