Cardi B Goes Off On Tasha K For Mentioning Takeoff
Cardi B does not play when it comes to family. Celebrity blogger Tasha K wrote a comment that mentioned the late Migos rapper Takeoff, implying that Cardi was promoting gun violence. “Wasn’t she posting guns right after Takeoff died?” Tasha K wrote in the comment section of The Neighborhood Talk. “And on the internet, cutting up not long after his sudden takeoff? I’m just asking…Everyone grieves diff…”
The Invasion of Privacy rapper took to Twitter to respond to Tasha K’s comments about Takeoff.

“I’m a rapper, we targeted all the time so of course I have guns for protection. But since you wanna be funny for comments, ima make sure your kid don’t go to college,” she also wrote, “You think my lawyers don’t know you hiding money in Africa? Ima make sure I get every red cent of my 4 mill. DONT EVER PUT TAKEOFF NAME IN YA MOUTH.”

Beyond this social media exchange, Cardi and Tasha K have a legal history as the rapper sued the blogger for defamation in 2019. Cardi B won the trial and Tasha K was ordered to pay $4 million. She later tweeted that she did not have enough funds to pay Cardi.
“Look! Sis & Law I Know you need that cause work is slow for all of us right now, but right now, I ain’t got it!” she wrote in April 2023 with an attached note showing who else she owed money to. “But let your lawyers know that when I’m up, you gone be up & stuck… You get first dibs after this irs bill gets paid…”
Cardi B sued Tasha K for making a blog post in 2018 that claimed Cardi used drugs and had sexually transmitted diseases. The case was subsequently tried in Georgia federal court in January 2022. Cardi won and a judge ordered that Tasha K pay the rapper $3,868,753.47.
