Nas Seemingly Appears To React To 21 Savage’s Recent Comments
21 Savage has been catching some heat for his recent comments about rap legend Nas. The Her Loss rapper participated in a Clubhouse discussion where he found himself in a heated debate when he stated, “What y’all saying, relevant though? I don’t feel like he’s relevant. I just feel like he got fans.”
The ATL native added, “He’s not relevant, he just has a loyal a– fan base. He just has a loyal fan base and he still make good-a– music.”
Nas fans quickly attacked the rapper as did Nas’ brother Jungle hopped in The Shaderoom’s comments section and wrote, “21 Savage is trash. Glad Nas dropped KD3 so fans can hear real bars. 21 can you do something for me? (laughing emojis),” in reference to the viral line from 21 and Drake’s “Rich Flex.”
21 wasn’t for the internet twisting his words and spoke up about the comments and decided to clarify his remarks.”I would never disrespect Nas or any legend who paved the way for me,” he tweeted. “Y’all be tryna take stuff and run with it.”

Nas seemingly responded to 21’s comment when he posted a fresh set of Instagram photos with the caption reading, “[laughing emoji] LOVE.”
Fans flooded the comment section writing, “Had to inspire them again like I didn’t already,” quoting his song “The Pressure.” Another fan wrote, “A King’s response!”
“#relevant,” another fan simply wrote.
Despite this “relevant vs. irrelevant” drama both rappers have been doing well music-wise.
21just dropped a joint album with Drake titled Her Loss. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, dethroning Taylor Swift’s Midnights. This is 21’s third No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 and Drake’s 12th. Additionally, all 16 tracks made their way to the Billboard Hot 100 with eight tracks making it to the top 10. Her Loss is Drake’s second No. 1 album of 2022, following Honestly, Nevermind, which dropped back in June.
Nas’ King’s Disease III dropped last Friday (Nov. 11) and is projected to move 27.5k copies.
