CSRA News: Early Voting in South Carolina
South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster signed legislation Friday that establishes early voting in the state.
In-person absentee voting has now been replaced with a two-week early voting period. Any voter can visit an early-voting location in their county. Early voting for the upcoming June 14 primaries will run from Tuesday, May 31, to Friday, June 10. Hours at all county voter registration and elections offices will be 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Absentee voting will be available by mail-only. You’ll have to request an absentee application by phone, mail or in person at your county registration office.
