Kanye West will be the topic of a new Netflix documentary series titled Jeen-yuhs, which recently debuted a teaser trailer.
The teaser is comprised of a throwback clip of Ye and Mos Def bringing it back to the 2000s rapping “Two Words” from Ye’s 2004 debut album The College Dropout.
The two rappers are sitting with collaborator Consequence and actor Wood Harris seated in what looks to be a conference room per PEOPLE.
Ye asks Mos Def in the clip, “Mos, can you spit a piece of that ‘Two Words’ s—?,” then both Mos and Ye begin rapping their collab track.
Jeen-yuhs is directed by collaborators Coodie and Chike Ozah, who also co-directed the 2005 music video for “Two Words” per the outlet.
The documentary will show behind-the-scenes footage of Ye’s life over a 20-year period per Variety. Almost nothing is off-limits in the three-part docuseries as it is set to follow Ye’s journey to becoming a Grammy-winning rapper and creating a global brand. The series is also set to give an inside into his 2020 presidential flop and how Ye coped with the unexpected death of his mother, Donda West per the outlet.
The three-part docuseries is scheduled to premiere on Netflix in 2022.
