AMERICAN IDOL – “407 (Hollywood Duets Challenge)” – Following Sunday’s electrifying kickoff to Hollywood Week, “American Idol” continues the two-night event, challenging this season’s hopefuls with Hollywood Duets, as the iconic Hollywood Week wraps up on MONDAY, MARCH 22 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC.
FUNKE LAGOKE
Last night's American Idol had a scary moment when a contestant got injured on camera, right after her performance. Contestants Ronda Felton and Funke Lagoke performed "Tell Him" (a song Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion recorded as a duet). While judge Lionel Richie was giving his feedback to the contestants, Lagoke fainted, hitting her face on the stage.
The judges -- Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan -- rushed to her aide and soon after, EMTs arrived. Lagoke was taken out in a stretcher and put in an ambulance.
The show later explained to viewers with a title card that Lagoke passed out due to dehydration and that she was OK.
