I Tried These Pinterest Baking Projects, And Can’t Stop Laughing At The Results

There are few things I love more than a fun new baking experiment, and I’ve got the Pinterest boards to prove it. Here’s the thing about Pinterest projects, though: they always look WAY easier than they are in real life.

  My friend asked me to re-create this pull-apart guitar cupcake. She offered to pay me for it, but I couldn't in good conscious take any money for this dumpster fire cake.

• It tasted better than it looked…

  I thought I'd get creative and try a pumpkin cheesecake. All well and good, until I decided to try & get fancy with Redi-whip flowers - which subsequently melted, making this pumpkin cheesecake look more like a slimy foam loaf with mystery goo topping.

  I was SO confident that these creme brulee cupcakes were going to be my culinary crowning glory. Sure, they tasted great...but when a cupcake looks more like an infected belly button, does it even matter whether or not it tastes good?
