Bravo has announced that Eboni K. Williams will join the Real Housewives of New York franchise.

She will join returning cast members Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Leah McSweeney, and Sonja Morgan.

In a statement about being the first Black cast member on the show, she says, “NYC is filled with successful and dynamic Black women. I’m excited to join this legendary franchise as the first Black housewife. Can’t wait to share a slice of life in this city that hasn’t been seen before.”

She adds, “Anyone who’s aware of my work knows I don’t hold back. I’m going to keep it just as real here as I do everywhere else.”

Eboni K. Williams is already a public figure. According to her social pages, she is the host and Executive Producer of Revolt Black News.

According to People, she has also earned a law degree at school at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, and in 2017, she released a book titled Pretty Powerful: Appearance, Substance & Success.
