Megan Thee Stallion is covering Variety's  2020 Power of Young Hollywood issue and in the feature, she talks about her debut album, Beyonce, and Black Lives Matter. Back in March, Hot Girl Meg released her  Suga EP,  and now she's readying her full-length debut album, which is slated to be released by the end of summer. The currently untitled project will bring forth another one of Megan's alter egos, who the Houston native describes as “the leader of all of them, the boss."

“I feel like everything that’s going on right now, if it hasn’t moved you to speak out or try to make some type of difference, then something might be slightly wrong with you,” Megan said. “Even though I haven’t already come out with a song with that messaging, I definitely plan on it.”

Megan met her fellow Houston native Beyonce and Jay-Z at the couple's New Year’s Eve party. “In the first five minutes of the conversation, I felt like I’ve been knowing her all my life,” Megan said. “She treated me like family, and now I feel like I am family. We talk all the time.” They went on to collaborate on the chart-topping remix to “Savage.”

Megan is featured on Cardi B's new single "WAP" that's slated for release on Friday (Aug. 7) at midnight. The two rappers have both been promoting the record on social media.
